How are Interviews Automated?
Interview USA, Inc.’s unique approach is based on “humanizing” the technology. For example, in many applications of the automated virtual interview, questions are asked by a human being who appears on-screen. Questions are tailored to the unique needs of each situation, and a video camera captures the responses of the
individual being interviewed.

We combine our proprietary interview-development process with touch-screen technology and an interface that is as simple to use as an ATM machine to create a solution that is comfortable foreven the most technologically-challenged individuals to use. The specific needs of each situation dictate the content of the questions, as well as what types of input are available to the end user (e.g. touch screen, verbal/visual response, etc.)

The Vivid™ System is designed to allow for immediate review of responses given, even at remote distances. The unit attaches the video and audio recordings, as well as any on-screen responses, and bundles everything into one record. The record is then available via the internet or private intranet for evaluation.

On the back end, Interview USA has developed a unique collaborative review system, whereby each participant in the interview evaluation process can rank or “score” responses, and enter notes which can then be made available to other team members. In other scenarios, an applicant’s touch-screen responses to the questions can be fed into an existing database. In either case, time invested by the organization is drastically reduced.
